Yen Dang WSOP Win

California Online pokerThe female poker professional Yen Dang from Denver who can be considered the black horse has won her first WSOP bracelet in event 51 that was a one thousand dollar buy in No Limit Hold’em Ladies Championship. This event had nine hundred and thirty six players which led to a very rough and a competitive final table. This is actually the second time Yen Dang takes part in the WSOP as her first time was back in 2005 when she was a law student but she didn’t cash out.

The 936 participants led to a final table that consisted of the winner Yen dang, Angela Prada-Moed, Rae Rocco, Freda Lawrence, Lesley Amos and Debbie Pechac among others. They battled it out until three of them only remained. The three players were Yen Dang, Debbie Pechac and Janet Howard which led to a head to head confrontation between Debbie and Dang after Janet Howard got eliminated.

Yen Dang has been holding a chip lead since level twenty two and she kept this lead until level 24 that had blinds of twelve and twenty four thousand dollar and a 4,000 ante. She took full advantage of the chip lead and she was able to dispatch her rival to win her first WSOP bracelet and cash out a total of 170,587 dollars. Debbie Pechac went home with a paycheck of 105,586 as the runner up.
