Full Tilt Hearing Behind Closed DoorsIt was announced that the public will not be invited to witness the licence suspension hearing for Full Tilt. The Alderney Gambling Control Commission made a ruling that the matter will be decided in private despite the wishes of the Executive Director of the Commission. The hearing is still scheduled for Monday 19th. According to the Commission’s website, the hearing will be held in camera.
Executive Director Andre Wilsenach released a statement in which he stated that he was pleased that the Full Tilt Poker hearing is continuing as it was scheduled. The Executive Director is quoted as saying, “I believe the public has a right to know the reasoning behind the decisions to suspend FTP’s licences and call a hearing and to hear the evidence that will be put forward on my behalf”.
The commission promises a follow up statement at their earliest convenience.
