Brian Hastings and his first WSOP Bracelet

World Series of Poker MilestonesThe very famous online poker player, Brian Hastings has won his first WSOP bracelet. The 23 years old player who is known for playing high stakes poker online finally secured his first bracelet after three days of fierce competition. Brian Hasting is originally from Pennsylvania, he moved to live in Canada after the sad events of Black Friday which had a great negative effect on his internet poker career in 2011. He entered event 12 which was a ten thousand dollars buy in No Limit Texas Hold’em competition which resulted in him winning a major prize of 371,498 dollars and the WSOP Bracelet.

This event had one hundred and fifty two participants which resulted in a huge prize pool that amounted up to 1.4 million dollars. This event needed 3 days to finish and to reach the final table that included Brian Hasting, Michael Drummond, Vanessa Selbst, Chris Moore, Brock Parker and Jason Mo among others. People predicted that the final battle would be Hastings against Blom, but these speculations failed as Blom got eliminated in the first day.

The final table resulted in an epic battle between Hastings and a professional poker player, Jason Mo, from Missouri. Hastings always had the chip lead advantage over Jason. Although Jason was able to take the chip lead form Hastings several times but it all ended by having Hastings as the winner. Of course Mo is not sad as he went home with 229.722 dollars in his pockets for securing the 2nd place.
